  Didn't know the Ridgemont existed until I found while searching on line, a little secluded but close to most things around the city. My wife and I had an upper level room for 2 nights, brilliant view, great to sit on balcony looking out over Strand and Maggie Island. Good value. Requested 6 meals, 2 x 3 types,(on a night meals not usually served)... cosa dice la gente » and was very pleased with service, quality and quantity. Great view from dining area. Didn't get around to utilising the pool, spa or BBQ are but the - Proximity to The Strand, a credit to Townsville Council. Room was clean and neat. TV needs replacing soon, screen pixelating continually. Reception staff (owners ?) were very helpful with directions.

  We were pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness of the stylishly appointed units. The resort is family friendly and the staff directed us to the facilities that best suited our children. We highly recommend this resort. - Loved the spacious unit, comfortable beds like soft clouds , 2 balconies, plenty of room for kids & us, we had space.   We had six family members in our party. Two singles and two couples. We booked a three bedroom unit and were thrilled to have three bathrooms with three toilets - a real bonus for seniors. Amanda welcomed us warmly on our - Quality of the units is great. Fantastic kitchen and bathrooms. Secure building with car parking. Location is fantastic. 1 minute walk to coffee and eateries. 5 minute walk to patrolled beach, and supermarket. 10 minute drive to major supermarket/movies. Have stayed here before and will stay again.

  Best backpackers I've ever stayed in! Staff are outstanding, the place is so clean, beds are good and rooms are decent size, they have a nice balcony area which you can relax or socialise in, good kitchen and they put on free breakfast for you too! Really close to everything, pub downstairs which gives you cheaper drinks if you're a guest (and you... cosa dice la gente » can't hear any noise either from upstairs if you want to sleep!), main street right outside, beach is a stones throw away, all in such a perfect litt - The manager is very friendly. I booked weeks ahead not realizing i had to check in on good friday. When I arrived at 10pm, the manager still answered the phone and opened the door to let me check in. And he drove me to the airport for free at 7am the next morning!
