  Spacious room with an amazingly comfortable bed, perfect to get a good nights rest as a stopover between Alice Springs and Coober Pedy to see Uluru. We were upgraded to the standard room at no charge on arrival as it was off-peak, which was a great gesture after a long drive. We were also given 2 keys which allowed us to leave the a/c on whilst we ducked o - Basic, clean and comfortable room. Including a refrigirator. Far from the bar area and therefore quiet.   The reception staff is the best. I forgot her name but she was excellent. Very efficient and friendly. Made sure I never missed anything including the pick up taxi even though she wasn't on duty. The pool is well maintained bui didn't have enough time for it. I saw families catching fun. Very close to cbd. Rooms were maintained daily with fresh towels as required. It had a pool for relaxation. I look forward to returning in the future and would recommend it to anyone.

  Very friendly and helpful staff who made our stay enjoyable. The position was very good quick access to all tourist areas while in a quiet location out of the main city centre. Secure off street parking. - Hospitable staff, nice accomodations. Good kitchen, nice to have fridge in private room and the pool was heavenly in the very hot weather.

  The proprietors were outstanding. We arrived having lost the use of our credit card as it had been cancelled due to online fraud. Our debit card turned out to be out of date. We were in the embarrassing situation of not being able to pay short of doing a direct bank transfer. He also promptly phoned the taxi company to ensure we would not miss o - Great room with fridge so you can prepare your own meals if on a budget! Staff were fantastic, knowledgeable about the area, helped us plan where to go, which buses to get and even helped us with setting up an Australian mobile (this was our first stop of our year in Australia)... 5 star service couldn't have asked for better hosts!   We stayed only two nights in Alice Springs and were very happy we had booked Alice Motor Inn. Gee, the manager was very helpful and friendly with good recommendations for dinner and places to shop. When we wondered if the Didgeridoo show was running, he was quick to call and find out for us. The room was clean and well outfitted with everything you'd need, including good air conditio - The Alice Motor Inn is a real gem in the heart of Alice Springs. The motel is run by a family, and both Gee and Carmel are excellent hosts. We immediately felt welcomed and, judging for their attitude to us and what we observed in their interaction with other guests, nothing is too much trouble.
