  Clean, comfortable room, nice big comfortable bed, friendly, helpful staff. Not too far from city centre but having a car is useful as bus service infrequent. Air- conditioner worked well to keep the room cool.   We've stayed there a few times - some for work and some personal. We have enjoyed the facilities/wining and dining and always found staff more than helpful. We have spent time in the pool which is welcoming and clean. LOVE the new block and especially the art in the new block. It was handy having the restaurant withing walking distance after travelling by car for most of the day and the variety of food was excellent. My husband recommends the Vindaloo. He loved it.

  Melaluca on Mitchell is located in the heart of Darwin and is right across from Coles. It's surrounded by great pubs and restaurants. I booked a double bed accessible room with my own ensuite and the room was great value for money and fully accessible. I also loved that the aircon was so loud it blocked out most of the noise! Rely enjoyed my stay at Melaleuca, I was travelling along and found it easy to make friends to have fun with. They have cleaners that work everyday, so bathroom is clean and the bedroom bins are always changed. The mess comes from other guests

  Views were excellent. Apartment was a good size with large balcony. Daily cleaning best standard we have experienced. New carpet. Two TVs (one in bedroom) appreciated. Location quiet, yet close to everything. Lobby, coffee shop and restaurant each a cool, peaceful refuge from the heat. King bed(2singles) comfortable, so slept well. The location was perfect - a very pretty area, lovely view over the harbour and easy walking distance to shops, supermarkets, wharf precinct. There was a good travel shop with great staff in the foyer which made it very easy to arrange excursion and get information about what to do and how to get around.
