  I loved the atmosphere of the hotel. It was luxurious and very classy for what I paid (35% discount). The room was amazing with an awesome view of the harbor.   We had a spa room because we had our 6mth old baby so the kitchenette with microwave & bath was a necessity. Our room had lots of space for our little one to zoom around in his walker & was at the far end so nice & quiet. The owners were lovely and made us feel very welcome.   Probably one of the best Ibis Budget hotels in Australia. Super clean, friendly staff and comfortable beds. Free parking and free tea and coffee until 10pm. Great value for money option. - We have used this chain before and as usual we were not disappointed. They are always clean, well positioned and have excellent staff.

  I liked that the Metropole is in the middle of town and is close to the railway station for those without a car. I liked the historic building with its lovely old, but well maintained structures, including the walkway from the back carpark to reception. It is a delight walking through the area with its ferns, goldfish, etc. - Location was great... cosa dice la gente » great. Close to all site seeing and also cheap great food and shops. Hotel was old school setting as well as modern which was great. I will be staying again later this year and will recommend this hotel to everyone going to the blue mountains.

  I had the unfortunate situation of having a migraine headache on the morning we were leaving but had several hours to pass before making our way to our cruise ship. My fellow travellers went for a walk whilst I sat in the reception area. This lady's kindness was above and bey - Craig, the manager, was a treat and very helpful. The hotel is within walking distance of terrific views of the Opera House and Harry's Cafe de Wheels. They have a handout that provides lots of tips about how to get around Sydney and things to do while in town. It was our first trip to Sydney and we only could stay one day before heading to Tonga, but we will return someday for a longer stay and would definitely consider staying at Mariners Court again.
