The whole weekend was excellent. My negative comment was of one staff member, who probably needs a bit of retraining. However the staff were great considering the storm that had ensued not long after our arrival. Staff could have been concerned about personal property and they still kept a smile and courteous attitude during their task at hand. I

I partciularly was extremely imporessed by the night receptionist
Nathan. I also stayed there Christmas eve and the day after and he was
on duty on both occasions. So helpful was he that I intended to write a
letter to the managemant extolling our praise.You are fortunate to have
him and youir other staff members were helpful as well. Please pass on
my thanks to Nathan. Also has good facilities, including the pool and
closness to the beach if required.

Their spa options were great, albeit a little pricey.
Staff were extra helpful and friendly.
The room was large and well designed. The best features included the bathroom with its own spa bath and the large balcony overlooking the golf course which was stunning.
Being a smoker, the ashtray on the balcony table was much appreciated and made the morning coffees more enjoyable.

When we requested a different room, the receptionist handled it in a
friendly, efficient manner. Very impressed in general with the staff.
Although young, they displayed confidence and a thorough knowledge of
their roles. Spa options were very good. -
Rooms were clean and comfortable, location was great and spa and pool area were great!

The Beach House was incredible, the bed was so comfy, room was so spacious, amenitites were beautiful. The location of the property was excellent right across from the beach but also secluded and in a very natural setting. -

Stayed at Ballina Beach Resort on a special mid-week deal so virtually had the place to ourselves, had use of spar & pool. Balcony overlooking gardens.

We were there as the threat of a major bushfire approach. The staff were really helpful and on hand to help us, even though their houses were at risk.
This is a great location for all of the sights.
We requested something for the room and it was immediate.
There is a good choice of food available

Nice quiet area a little out of the way of major shopping centers there is a couple of little shopping villages and some take away stores within 5 minute drive of the resort.
Nice pools and beach is very secluded and Walking distance from anywhere in the resort.

We only stayed one night for a rest on our way to the Goldcoast from Sydney. My husband 4x kids and myself are already thinking that we would like to plan our next trip there and spend longer. Good value for money.

The setting was great, shame about the weather. The dinner in the dining
room on Saturday evening was exceptional. The food and service was
outstanding even with 3 large separate parties. -

We visited the Hunter Valley for a concert on the green. The location was perfect and also allowed easy access to other wineries. Our room was upgraded on the Sunday at no extra cost. Hotel was very clean and facilities made for a relaxing weekend. Staff were very helpful -

Loved the lay-out and the proximity of everything. We had privacy but not far to walk to any of the pools or the bar/restaurant.
The receptionist on a Friday night / Saturday (not sure of her name but she has 3 young sons) - she was awesome! Very friendly, helpful and a real delight to deal with.

The room we had was an excellent size with L-shaped leather sofa and TV creating a living room space, the terrace looked over the swimming pool and tennis court, which was lovely. The room was smart, chic and excellently appointed with the kitcheonette as well.

The hospitality was friendly. The gardens beautiful. The restaurant was superb and the room was clean, fresh and comfortable. My only complaint was there was no soap in the bathroom to wash our hands (there was body wash for the shower) of course and the tap dripped. But a simple call to reception would have had those fixed quickly I would have imagined. The rest was lovely. Had a very enjoyable birthday with my husband there and have recommended to family and friends. Will go again in near

My wife and I loved the relaxed atmosphere of the whole village and the access of the dining facilities and the beach. We loved the friendly manner of the staff and the way the whole village was looked after. We felt safe and secure unlike a night out in Byron were you are always on the alert. -
