A very fine ambience in this delightfully restored winery. Complimentary port or muscat in the Great hall with two wood fires blazing was a relaxing way to end a day's driving. Geoff and I love staying at Peterson's Armidale Winery and Guesthouse. We are repeat visitors and appreciate the ambience, the great staff, the food and the beautifully appointed rooms. The staff were very understanding when we couldn't arrive by 2100 because of a detour because of bushfires and were more than willing to make us welcome by leaving the key and fresh milk for a cup of tea when we arrived.

Easily reached, very quiet location with wonderful elevated views over golf course to surrounding countryside. Not crowded by any other nearby buildings, but close to Albury CBD and services. The owners are lively people who make their guests feel at home. It has funky decor that is certainly more interesting than the usual country bed & breakfast. I'd had a long drive from Sydney & was delighted when they offered a delicious meal so I didn't have to go out again. -

I loved the late check-out, (12 noon) - all hotels should adopt this
practice of letting you leave a little later. It certainly allayed a lot
of stress and if you check-in late, you feel like you got what you paid

Canada in the last 2years and this hotel is as good as any of them.If it
was in Milan,New York,Tokyo,Stockholm or wherever it would be the
"in"place to stay. The staff are very competent and friendly
.The rooms are very well appointed and stylish.The bar and restaurant
are very good and have a great atmosphere .And the location is
excellent. It is an excellent hotel.

We loved everything about the QT Hotel. We didn't want to leave. We arrived mid morning and were surprised that we were able to go directly to our room. We had expected to store our bags and come back later. We were then told that we could have full internet access at no additional charge. Sunday -
Our apartment with full kitchen, laundry and enormous bath was perfect for our family. It immediately felt homely with the bonus of comforts and amenities of a top class resort. The rainforest boardwalk was a joy to explore and the hotel was a convenient 5 minute drive to the town centre, or a 10 minute stroll to Tallow Beach. Complementary morning yoga on the verandah was also a lovely way to start the day. The staff were a stand-out; consistently pleasant and helpful throughout our stay.
