  The friendly welcome when we arrived. The quality of the meals in the Restaurant. Although it is on the Highway, we did not hear any traffic.   Superb value for money. Very comfortable and clean rooms. Great location - very easy to find from the highway which is so important at the end of a day of traveling. Friendly and helpful staff.   Nice modern linen even though old fashioned (yet well appointed) rooms. Warm on freezing night, good TV. It was great to have breakfast as part of package (in dining room) and late check out (10am). Friendly staff and good service was much appreciated.   My husband and myself loved everything about our stay at The Lodge, Mudgee.
