  I would thoroughly recommend Marty's at Little Beach. The room was very modern with a large bathroom and shower. The hot water was very welcome. It was great to see a hairdryer, ironing board and iron available in the room. The location was close to Nelson Bay Shopping Centre but was in - Gorgeous little motel block ..extremely clean and beautifully fitted out and when you arrive at your room you're greeted with a gift or 2 welcoming you to Martys ...the lady owner is marvellous , very helpful and organised ..I would definetely go back there again and I would recommend to all my travelling friends ... A pleasure staying there indeed .

  The Admiral Nelson was one of the nicest hotels (at any price range) I have ever stayed at. The feel of the hotel was special and created a lovely atmosphere. The management were friendly, professionaland and unassuming. We got such a great price for the weekend that I was expecting a relatively standard motel room instead the room exceeded my expectations!!
