Everything. From the design, color of the motel to the interior layout. The motel looks retro and the layout of the room is modern. Its very clean, spacious, comfortable and new. A lovely retro-styled hotel,excellent location if you are flying out of the Gold Coast airport (the room fee includes a free airport transfer). Also very good when coming off a late night flight - there are always cheap supplies in the room (noodles, cup-a-soups, hot water jug), great if you are coming off a 1 am flight! We stayed in the deluxe seaview appt, room 18. Immaculate spacious appartment, modern, stylish, seaviews from all rooms, two bathrooms, great kitchen. Undergournd secure parking. We were out at the theme parks during most days, and didnt use the pool which looked inviting. The beach is just over the road.

The manager was very helpful and a really nice person ,always makes your stay alot better. The apartment was beautiful and clean and had a lot of space, we would definitely recommend this place to our family and friends to stay . it's a home away from home. -
Laurie and Caroline were fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble for them.
Bayview is far enough away from the busy Surfers Paradise but close enough to theme parks, shopping, walks and other attractions. The apartment was beautifully kept and a good size.

The views from the balcony can only be described as 360' and the
best on the gold coast. I recommend upgrading to the penthouse, we
booked the villa but when we got there found it unlivable. Brad was
great and upgraded us to 15th floor, hence why I say pay the extra

Whilst the building is a little dated, the accommodation, facilities and outlook (fabulous views of the Broadwater) exceeded our expectations. The apartment itself was a little tired, but had every necessity and was absolutely spotless, sheets and towels were as new. Brad, the Manager, could not do enough for us. Thanks Brad. We would not hesitate to stay there again.

The staff were fantastic. I forgot my cuff links for a wedding, staff member Jessica was a life saver! She was more than helpfully in getting anything you can ask for. She knows her stuff and if she doesn't, she come back to you asap.

We got married here on the 22/11/2013. The venue was amazing. The staff where amazing, The food was amazing, The grounds are amazing..... Everything was just perfect. Thanks to everyone at the hotel who helped make our day so special.

Great size apartment for a family - 2 good size bedrooms with built ins, 2 great bathrooms, spacious lounge dining, small laundry fantastic views, well equipped kitchen. Very central location. Very good value for money - starting to age a little bit, but would definitely book again. -

I can't recommend this Crystal Bay more highly. We have been having weekend stays at the Gold Coast for years and this was probably the most pleasant and relaxing places we have stayed. The facilities - Great, the views -wonderful and I would recommend it to anyone. -

The location was good, close to great eateries and the beach, easy access to the theme parks.
The reception staff were really friendly. The apartments were well set out and very clean.
There was also a great BBQ kitchen close to the pool with all the utensils you needed.
It is a great place for kids as the pool is really kiddy friendly. Would definatley return!

Will stay again. 2 bed apartment was affordable, well laid out, clean and fully equipped. Walking distance to everything. Wrap round balconies meant that the view included beach, citiscape, canal and mountains! -

Favourite Gold Coast beach and this hotel gives the best views of it. We were lucky enough to be given top level in the middle. Very friendly staff! "Homely" feel - not run by a mega millionaire company. 1nighy stays welcome at affordable prices. -
