Before arriving in Melbourne, I had wanted to make some changes to our Great Ocean Road drive and cancel our stay at Apollo Bay and head straight to Port Campbell. We booked in the very last minute, in a try to ensure good weather for the trip, and actually, we did it right, not only with the weather, but with our choice for stay one night. The staff was friendly, talkative and extremely attentive. They actually contacted us before our arrival, in order to check if one of our special requests would fit their accommodation type.   Good location, does what its says on the tin. Motel not a Hotel. Very very clean. Great big spa bath, nice size bathroom and bedroom, we had the suite, it was a slightly more than a regular room and worth the extra. Did not get the opportunity to use the pool, but we were disappointed that it was a lot smaller than it looked on the photographs. - ... cosa dice la gente » The room was spacious and well appointed. The suite had been very thoughtfully laid out, with a large bathroom, a large wardrobe and plenty of space for luggage. The staff were friendly and helpful, offering knowledgeable recommendations about activities, attractions and the best places to eat. I would not stay anywhere else in Apollo Bay.

  Eccellente Motel di fronte alla spiaggia di Apollo Bay, con una camera ampia e spaziosa, un angolo cottura con forno a microonde, un frigorifero, un tavolo per mangiare un comodo letto King Size ed un TV flat con canali satellitari - Stanza con vista sul mare!!   On arrival we were warmly greeted and directed to a very comfortable room. We spent a pleasant 2 nights in the motel. All the staff were helpful especially directing us to Cape Otway where we were able to see koalas in their natural environment. What a sight.   We enjoyed the location. It was very quiet and peaceful. Great ocean view. Great place to sit out on the patio and look at the stars. The bedspread was very clean....I noticed a few bedspreads hanging on the clothes line. I appreciated that it was eco-friendly and the fresh laundry smell. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The beds were comfy and the pot belly stove was very welcome on a cold winters day, it truly was the best stay we had.
