  The place is very clean and cosy. James from the motel is very friendly and helpful in giving us recommendations on what to see and eat around the area. Before arriving in Melbourne, I had wanted to make some changes to our Great Ocean Road drive and cancel our stay at Apollo Bay and head straight to Port Campbell. We booked in the very last minute, in a try to ensure good weather for the trip, and actually, we did it right, not only with the weather, but with our choice for stay one night. The staff was friendly, talkative and extremely attentive. They actually contacted us before our arrival, in order to check if one of our special requests would fit their accommodation type.   I loved how every morning just before sunrise, we would open up the curtains and you could hear and see the ocean and the waves breaking before you. You're just outside of all the shops and other hotels so this gives you a sense of privacy. Great size unit for a couple with magnificent views of the beautiful ocean which was both relaxing and breathtaking and a real getaway from city life. Great value for money!   We enjoyed the location. It was very quiet and peaceful. Great ocean view. Great place to sit out on the patio and look at the stars. The bedspread was very clean....I noticed a few bedspreads hanging on the clothes line. I appreciated that it was eco-friendly and the fresh laundry smell. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The beds were comfy and the pot belly stove was very welcome on a cold winters day, it truly was the best stay we had.
