  We were an extended family of six adults , a young child + two toddlers. The hotel was very clean , extremely comfortable beds with nice baby cots + all set up waiting for us when we arrived. The adjoining pub/restaurant was very child friendly with good food. The location is superb. The staff at the hotel and the adjoining Brewers fayre were friendly and customer service was excellent! The room was comfortable. The breakfasts were really good, with kids eating free - which was great!

  Friendly staff, clean, comfortable, only had breakfast next door in the Beefeater but it was lovely food and lots of choice, short drive to sea front and if you don't want to drive there is a bus at the top of the road and there is going to be a sainsburys there soon too, we were out the back of the hotel overlooking the car park but in the distan... ce que les gens disent » ce you could see the sea - lovely x x - Very clean surroundings, helpful staff, nothing was to much trouble for them. The bedroom was impeccable and the bed comfortable. Dinner was good and the breakfast certainly set you up for the day.Well done to all involved in the running of the hotel and good luck for the future and thank you all for a most enjoyable stay.

  The staff were smart, friendly and did there best to make the Rex feel a classy hotel. The main staircase seemed a lovely reminder of the glory of the hotel in the past and the restaurant suggests hope for the future but the bedrooms tell a tale of dividing down decent rooms to fit in as many customers as possible. I give high marks for the fried bread and black p - celebrating our wedding anniversary we chose the four poster room with spa bath and balcony. I was excellent, comfortable with great harbour and sea front views. The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. We tried the restaurant the first night and were amazed at the quality, presentation and choice of menu also very affordable. It was so good we went there the second night as well!. Excellent experience we would not hesitate to recommend.

  Weymouth is a beautiful seaside/harbour town. As soon as we walked through the door of our hotel, we were greeted with a welcoming lobby and helpful, friendly staff. Our room was lovely and clean - on the front by the bridge. Breakfast was superb! Waiter/waitress service - much nicer than buffet style. Food was hot and tasty. service was - Emma the receptionist & Nicki the waitress were huge ambassadors for this hotel. We arrived at about 7.40pm which was 20 minutes after the dining room was due to close. Emma went and saw Nicki and organised that we would still get a meal, then she used a short cut for me to bring our luggage in from the back car park and stored it in reception so we could go and eat, talk about above and beyond, this was service of the highest order. Nicki gave us top class service during our meal as if we

Bottled water was also a good touch as some hotels do not do this and you have to use the bathroom taps for drinking water. Breakfast was very hearty and I would look them up again if we want to stay in Weymouth.

  The breakfast was very good, the parking although limited I was pleased to have a parking space and not have to worry. The water bottles on the landings and outside our room was 1st class. overall very good. - Easy access to shops,beach etc. Very friendly atmoshere, cleanliness of hotel, excellent food and very obliging staff.

  I found the hotel right on the front and very close to the town centre and bus services ,also the staff and service were excellent. - Delicious breakfast lovely atmosphere in dining room. Very friendly and efficient staff.
