Barbara, Graham and Ruby the dog were the best hosts. They were very welcoming and accomodating. On arrival they brought a pot of tea and cake to our room which was a nice touch. Breakfast was also piping hot, fresh and cooked to perfection. They also noticed i left my bluberries and rasberries out of my fruit salad the first day so left them out the second day. This is one of the best guest house ever. I book this guest house because of the beautiful flower in the picture. Didn't expect a wonderful room inside.
The room is very clean from carpet to the towel and the toilet is in perfect condition.
In this guest house also include full breakfast which I can't forget to mention about it. The breakfast is the best we had in a long time. Make us full until dinner.

We liked the friendliness of the owners of the Crofton Guest House. Nothing was too much trouble for Duncan and Diane and they created a very welcoming atmosphere. Staff exceptionally friendly, called ahead before we arrived and we were allowed to check in early, which was a welcome relief. Rooms were exceptionally clean, airy and modern. Well designed and functional. Bathrooms were very clean. Hospitality tray was very well stocked. Breakfast was excellent and catered very well for all tastes and a two year old. Where do I start from the moment we arrived they couldnt do enough for us, we were running late for a family wedding and Martin even dropped us off at the venue to make sure we got there in time then parked our car for us, he even moved it later on that night so that it was right in front of the guest house, this is how to run a b and b, we couldnt thought it and although the room was small it had everything you could need and more, they thought of everything, i can highly recommend this guest

The owners Leslie & Clive made us feel very welcome straight away, our room was lovely and great little touches , was extremely clean, the décor was lovely also. The breakfast was first class, did not need to eat anything until the evening as was too full, the quality of the breakfast was second to none. The hard work that the owners put in was certainly noticeable throughout our stay we will definatly be staying here again and was well worth the long journey from Essex.
