  The room was just what we needed; cosy, warm, clean with lovely furnishing, plus little thoughtful touches like homemade cookies and local maps to ponder over. Tea and cake on arrival in a beautiful kitchen. Stove was on and a they have a lovely little dog to pat!   The room was spacious and clean. We were given a key code to get in as we were arriving when Heidi was out, it was a simple and no fuss system, we were able to put our bags in and go and explore York. The breakfast was hot and tasty and served with a smile. Our room was spotless and very comfortable with everything you could need. Our breakfast was fabulous! Just what we needed to kick start our day - even with added extras of homemade jams!
