Very friendly and warm welcome to the accommodation, and it was nice to receive an email from the guest house prior to arrival asking for any special dietary or arrival requirements. Room was spotless and very comfortable. Hosts are very knowledgable of the local area and happy to help. Food was excellent. Would recommend this guest house to anyone looking for a relaxing stay close to York city centre with the Minster being around a 10min walk away.

Beautiful room;very clean and plenty of space. Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast! Perfect location; very quite but only a few minutes walk to the city through the museum gardens. Every aspect of my stay was enjoyable, the room was very comfortable, the staff were polite and friendly,the food was tasty and well presented, the bar restaraunt and gardens were very popular with guests & non guests.Also the information available for local sights and activities etc was as impressive as the setting/views.
