The hotel was perfect. Clean, comfortable and with a great staff. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Wonderful hotel. Highly recommend it. - kids just loved the leisure club, couldn't keep them out of the water and the jacuzzi and steam bath were an added luxury.

So impressed were we with the amenities and warm welcome that we booked a second night within five minutes of our arrival. I have stayed in many bed and breakfast. Many which cost a small fortune
and Were upsettingly of a very poor standard. This is the best one I
have ever stayed in. Everything is very well thought of to make your
stay perfect. Can't highly recommend this place or the lovely people
who run this highly enough so go ahead and book straight away. I have
never left a review before but had to shout out about this one xxx

Spacious accommodation.
Obliging staff.
Pleasant, well-run dining area for breakfast. No cooked food but plenty of cereals, toast, yoghurts, fresh fruit, juices, tea and coffee available to help yourself to. -
Nice room and bathroom bonus it has spa bath!! Staff were great and it suited our needs breakfast was what was stated would go back.

The staff are excellent, very friendly and very accommodating. Parking facilities are very good and the staff have good local knowledge. The hotel is very close to the city centre and patrolled by the Police on foot. The hotel is within walking distance to all the nightlife. The hotel is very quiet at night and the beds are very comfortable. -

I had asked for quiet rooms, and it was quiet and I slept well. The manager was very helpful to me with Directions etc. The meal was lovely and the prices reasonable. The location of the Hotel was perfect. We will hopefully go again next year. Reasonable rate for single occupancy. -
It does not look great on the photos but it's quite nice.

Stunning panoramic views for windows. The cooked breakfast was delicious and enough to keep you going all day. Cleanliness in the guest house was fabulous. Could not have been made to feel more welcome. Nothing was too much trouble! Loved the idea of one big table at breakfast as this provided a good opportunity to chat to other guests.

We arrived after climbing on Ben Nevis soaking wet and tired - very friendly and welcoming staff provided us with paper towels to dry our boots. In the morning fantastic Scottish breakfast was served, excellent guest house location and view! :) What was crucial for us - very convenient car park! Very good value for money! -

Not solved was the problem with the corde for the ventilation inside the single room :-(

Le Ferry Inn à Scrabster est le dernier hôtel sur l'A9. Il a été récemment rénové et offre une vue magnifique sur la mer.
Juste au nord de Thurso, le port Scrabster permet d'accéder aux îles Orcades....

The inn is right opposite the working port. I found the view from my room lovely and the stevedores calling, the boats and ships and the fog that rolled in very atmospheric. The welcome we received from Sarah was a credit to both her and The Ferry Inn-thank you.
The room was excellent and most comfortable.
The location was ideal for our touring purpose.
Popeye's was great for our Bar snack in the evening, where it was lovely to chat to the locals, and The Upper Deck was lovely for breakfast the next morning.

Location - unbelievable sunset.
Booked single room before reading some critical reviews of room size - feared the worst but in the event given a double room with nice view of harbour at single room rate - so Good for comfort and in my case value for money also.
Lovely staff - intelligent and hospitable - other hotels could learn from them!!!! -
