The room was extremely comfortable and we were very impressed with the size of the room and the HUGE bed we had! The hotel is in a fantastic location for the town. We will definately go back, and will be recommending it to all of our friends and family - We were having a weekend break visiting Fort William and Oban, have been to hotel before and can't fault the hotel or location, fantastic on all counts, friendly attentive staff, comfortable room, stunning view and excellent food and we will be back next year.

The hotel was perfect. Clean, comfortable and with a great staff. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Wonderful hotel. Highly recommend it. - kids just loved the leisure club, couldn't keep them out of the water and the jacuzzi and steam bath were an added luxury.

I stayed in the attic room, which was very quaint and had a ton of character, I absolutely loved the room. The location of this hotel is perfect for relaxing or hiking, it is located right near the water with amazing views. The new owners were friendly and trying hard to make all the guests happy; this included 'a wee dram' of whisky on arrival and a bottle of sparkly when our table for dinner was not ready on time. Very approachable staff; fabulous environs, warm, clean and romantic buildings and gardens. Loved the sense of history; staying in Flora McDonald's house.

Staff were excellent, room was superb (however, admittedly we were upgraded from the outside studio so not sure what the cheaper studio room was like - if this room was anything to go by though probably excellent) - Excellent dinner and breakfast. Comfortable room and pleasant staff.

I loved the Old Inn.I was there with my daughter of thirteen .It was everything you would expect in such a beautiful area of the Highlands.
The staff were so friendly and helpful .There was such a wide choice of food ,which equally was superb.I was sorry to leave but will be returning .

l'endroit, le personnel d'accueil - Absolutely first class service - friendly, helpful, welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. I will look forward to staying there again next time I am in the area. - We were upgraded to room with a view over the loch at no extra charge simply because the room was available. Very impressed.

The inn is right opposite the working port. I found the view from my room lovely and the stevedores calling, the boats and ships and the fog that rolled in very atmospheric. The welcome we received from Sarah was a credit to both her and The Ferry Inn-thank you.
The room was excellent and most comfortable.
The location was ideal for our touring purpose.
Popeye's was great for our Bar snack in the evening, where it was lovely to chat to the locals, and The Upper Deck was lovely for breakfast the next morning.

Location - unbelievable sunset.
Booked single room before reading some critical reviews of room size - feared the worst but in the event given a double room with nice view of harbour at single room rate - so Good for comfort and in my case value for money also.
Lovely staff - intelligent and hospitable - other hotels could learn from them!!!! -

Merveilleux établissement! - The staff were very friendly and helpfull even though they had a wedding in it did not affect our stay we arrived early and they looked after our luggage while we went for a walk also when we checked out they looked after it untill we went to the airport. and value

It was a most enjoyable stay, with the staff there adding to it with being so friendly and helpful throughout.
