What a find. A cosy little room with a comfortable bed, good heating and little extras like shampoo and handcream in the bathroom, - even a bag of chocolates. Brain met us and showed us around. The room is lovely,with it's own entrance.Brian and Pam were
absolutely fantastic hosts. You were made to feel like part of the
family. The ample breakfast was lovely.Birthday cake left in room as
requested,plus a birthday card from Brian,Pam and family.Good
location,and free,private parking.There was a plaque in the room
stating,you arrive as guests and leave as friends, never a truer word
spoken. Thank you for a lovely stay :)

Hosts were very welcoming. Room was a good size and the bed was very comfy. Small bathroom - but adequate and spotless. Breakfast was really good. The whole place had a lovely gentle feel about it. Loved it! Would have no hesitation to book again when in that area and would certainly encourage others to use it! -

Very friendly atmosphere, the owners were great. The room was spotlessand wonderfully finished in tip top condition. We have never had betterservice. Will definitely stay there again highly recomended 10/10. - Very welcoming and helpful staff. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. All in all a very delightful few days.

Gill was a lovely friendly Host/owner ... we loved our stay at the Pier, our room was beautiful, very clean the pod bathroom didn't bother us as we are small anyway :) and the shower was fine ... I and we had the Hollywood vanity basin in the room which was great loved the Décor of the Georgian house, and the breakfast was fresh and local produce

- The B&B itself was OK and the room was spacious, warm and big enough
- Location was good, about 15 mins from Train station Portsmouth Harbr and 12 mins from the spinaker tower. It is also nicely located if you are going for some walking as well because it is in the midle distance wise from almost everything
- Breakfast was good typical B&B breakfast (full english and had some fruits as well)

The beds very good and had no problem sleeping . It was not far from a pub for a meal the night we stayed but the nub do not take cards

Home from home. So friendly and hospitable. I felt like i'd known Christine forever. Nothing was too much trouble. The nicest breakfast I have ever had!!! And to say I nearly didn't book it because it was continental. A cooked breakfast was offered though. And Christine very kindly offered to make me porridge. It was the nicest i'd ever tasted! B

Christine is very sweet and helpful, and she makes great conversation. The bed was the most comfortable one we came across in the B&Bs we tried this vacation. Includes basic TV, free WI-FI (though we had trouble getting signal upstairs), yummy, varied continental breakfast, and a very relaxed atmosphere. Thanks for the dinner recommendation!

The staff were excellent, always hospitable and ready to help, in particular the manager. All the staff were always ready with a smile, going out of their way to get you whatever you needed, whenever you needed it. Excellent full breakfast or whatever you wanted in the morning. Rooms perfectly clean with everything you need. Convenient for Portsmouth shopping and the ferry terminal. Highly recommended.
