  If you are searching for an excellent B&B for your trip to Bangor, stay at the Shelleven Guest House. The owners, Philip and Mary, are classy four star people. For any questions we had about the area, they knew or found the answers. We were treated very specially, but were given our space in the guest house. The location is excellent, and we enjoyed the walk along the seaside promenade to restaurants for dinner so lovely ... a highlight of our stay in Ireland.

  Excellent service, really nicely decorated all over. Great to have tea and coffee facilities in the room, the biscuits are a welcome added touch. Thanks for a lovely stay. - We were only there for 1 night but we were warmly welcomed and found the room and bathroom spotlessly clean.Breakfast was excellent and staff very helpful.

As we were not fully aware of our way around Bangor directions and information was given even though not directly asked for (i.e. films on at cinema, places to eat).
