  Hostal de la Luz was a great find. The owners were extremely helpful and kind and the breakfast was good value for money. The room was spacious and clean and had a rooftop view over the river and church. The location was perfect, only a five minute walk to the town, tapas bars were closer and the area was nice and quiet. The staff were very friendly and helpful, although they did not speak English and our Spanish is very limited they still managed to give us directions to some sights outside Cuenca and recommended places to eat.

  very good value and staff very friendly and helpfull there was 10 over 65 in our group - Very kind and nice staffs, and the breakfast was provided for free. Also, very cheap price.

  This is a very nice hostal, with a good location on a side street, inside the city walls. A basic breakfast is provided. But what made our visit really special was Eami (sp?) at the front desk. She went way beyond our expectations helping us get to the hostal with our rental car so we could unload our luggage. God bless her. - We felt great during our stay at Hostal La Campana; the staff was extremely friendly, especially Antonio, the man at the reception, who I assume is one of the owners as well. The room was big, the towels were changed every day and the bathroom was very clean.

  The staff was very, very helpful. The young woman at the desk instructed us on sites to see in Both Guadalajara and Madrid given our limited time. The hotel was only a few minutes drive to the center of town and convenient to the Autovia as well.
