Very unfair to make a reasonable comment of this question, we arrived just after 6.00pm had to be at our event breifing by 7.00pm didn't get back till after 8.30pm had take away tea then in bed to be up at 4.00am fo complete our event, so as you can see just a quick stopover. -

I liked the convenience of having the thermal hot pools right at your door also the cafe for breakfast was excellent value for money. Also The accommodation we stayed in (self contained unit) was perfect for what we required we were able to cook have space to work as this was a business trip/school holiday get-away all in one. great stuff!

The staff were very friendly and easy access to facilities like the guest laundry and indoor pool. Units were spacious especially for a young family as ours. The location was perfect, very handy to the supermarket, places to eat and to the city. Following the booking, our host ensured we had information about accessing the keys to our room should we arrive late for check in. All in all very helpful .

the main roads - you don't emphasise this enough in your advertising
as many of the others we considered all ended up being on/near main

Everything! Gorgeous apartment - comfortable, luxurious, well equipped. It had everything we needed & more. Great shower, beautiful linen, fluffy towels, and ridiculously comfortable bed that was very difficult to get out of! Extremely close to the charming town of Coromandel. A great place to escape for the weekend. Fantastic. -

We were just passing through on the way to snow and had intended staying closer to the mountain but am very pleased we stayed in Turangi instead. The extra space and comfort at Settlers was worth a slightly longer drive to the snow in the morning and the value was fantastic. Helen was very welcoming and helpful, would happily stay again, and like to spend more time in the area.

Loved being walking distance to the shops, cafes and the beach just across the road. Was a lovely child free weekend for the two of us, so relaxing, and the apartment was comfortable and also nice relaxing on the deck while having a few drinks! We will be back :) -

Extremely helpful staff making arrangements for our shuttle to Tongariro Alpine Crossing and for an excellent fishing guide, Tim McCarthy. Food is excellent. They cooked for us one of the trout that we caught. -

A family runned lodge, that have build up a very nice accomodation to stay near tongariro. Very friendly and helped us excellent throughout out planning of the trip and were also helpfull during the stay. The ensuite room was equipped with a fridge, we also liked the complementary hottub! The lodge has a fully equipped kitchen and lounge area, and they also provide a shuttlebus pickup to the tongariro crossing.

Would like to stay again in the summer to make good use of the outdoor BBQ and out door furniture and watch the sun go down and hopefully watch a loverly sunset with my wife whilst enjoying a botle of wine.
