It suited us perfectly with location and ease of access. Our downstairs unit allowed us to park right outside--very handy. Enjoyed chatting with the owners. It was clean and tidy and had everything we needed, including Sky TV and Internet access. Enjoyed sitting outside having a drink in the late afternoon. -

Parkside Lodge is a little gem, and is probably the nicest motel I have stayed in. The staff are friendly and helpful, it is clean and the rooms refreshed each day. 1. The hosts were very warm and helpful. I have never met such welcoming hosts before.
2. The hosts have clearly put their heart and soul into the place and have purchased unique "retro" items to give this place a "look and feel" that is unique.
3. I love the free homemade double double chocolate cookies in the pantry.
4. The toilet facilities are friendly for people with disabilities.

I absolutely loved having room to put our 2 suitcases. We have travelled the world and never had the pleasure of this before and it makes me wonder - there are usually 2 people with a suitcase each. Usually we use a chair or something for the 2nd suitcase.

We had dinner in the hotel the first night as we were so tired but enjoyed the food so much, we went back the second night!!

The place was spotless and very well thought out with all the "how to's". e.g. how to get the best tap temp in the kitchen/shower, amenities. I especially liked the recycling bins for plastic glass etc. The location is exceptional too. We took the bikes and rode along the waterfront. What a great place.....I cannot fault anything! The lovely host Carol; gave time for me to unpack & unwind then come to the room and showed me around as well as gave demos on how to use the facilities, i.e. shower & spa. Breakfast was delivered in the pouring rain and was hot and yummy tasty!! Staff were all helpful, friendly & very welcoming. I will definitely be staying there again when I travel through. Thanks :)
