  Very good location and a great hotel! What a gem! Loved our stay here! The staff are very competent (all spoke English) and helped with all our requests. While it's about 2-3 stations away from the hub JR station, it is so close to many places of interests. Very central allowing you short transits too, tourist sites, walking distance to good shopping and a 5 minute ride to central station. Arranged cheap transit to airport.

  Nice and comfortable, very clean, quiet and a king_size breakfast. The breakfast is really worth the price, but don't book it in advance, you get discount vouchers at the reception counter! The Monterey-Hotels are all over Japan the best choice!   We had a very japanise style room. Very luxurious with privated garden. The bathroom was a dream. May be the best I´ve ever been. I can highly recommend it if you want a relaxing and typical japanise experience. A true ryokan.
