The staff went above and beyond to help me retrieve an electronic
device I left on the train. Apart from that the location was only a few
minutes walk from Kyoto Station which we found perfect and the hotel
was clean and comfortable, providing wifi which can't ways be
presumed in Japan. -

have spa on top floor which is a bonus for after shopping, although its a bit small but it still good. A lot of people were saying about no wifi in the room but if you ask the staff at reception they will give you a modem for your room to use, free of charge! this was another bonus since i thought they only have wifi in the lobby. -

Extra friendly staff. Clean room. We requested a double if one became available as we were on honeymoon but only a twin was avail at time of booking. They upgraded us for free. Nice room. Great location for sightseeing. Only short walk to subway. Didnt use restaurant so not sure what it was like. -

great place in a traditional style (we took Japanese room). Though not on the budget side of price and breakfast is not included in the rate, it is worth every penny paid. Very nice hotel. Clean, quiet, elegant and comfortable. Unlike most of the hotels we've visited in Japan, it is rather spacious and with a touch for detail. It was a pleasant experience when I was in Kyoto Rich Hotel. The staffs
were very friendly, even the seniors. I was touched when two old staffs
helped me for the check-in procedure, they were very polite and
thoughtful. The location is great, bus stop just 30 meters nearby, easy

Very nice and very clean hotel. Rooms are a bit small (like everywhere in japan) but comfortable and clean. Staff is very kind and speak english very well. Very good value for money. Breakfast is also good.
I can recommend this hotel.
The location is not so exciting, I though it was quite near to Gion but it's not. You have to take the subway to reach restaurants or night life areas.

What I like most about Keihan is that is directly across from the jr
train/subway station. It's a very convenient location. The
room is massive itself and the bed was massive! Free WiFi in all rooms

When booking a room I asked for a quiet room, and this request has been dealt with in a most perfect manner possible - the view was over a cemetery. Hotel location is absolutely perfect, in pedestrianized Rokkaku-dori, just off the busy Kawaramachi-dori, with hotel being well shielded from traffic by a large UniQlo shop. The room was excellent, not too small, clean and nicely decorated. A beautiful an relaxing place to stay, good for holidays and for a business trip.
