  English speaking staff made our welcome more personal than any other hotel we stayed at. Facility was best during our 10-day trip,. Rooms were spacious, very comfortable, always clean, immaculate, and even had a dresser!. Centrally located in Kumamoto with bus stop, street cars very accessible. We booked a non smoking room. When we arrived in the room it was smelting smoke. We got a new room right away which was a lot better. Although in Japan it seems difficult to get a really non smoking room. Especially in hotels which exist a little longer. However this hotel is perfect base for exploring Kumamoto and surrounding.

  Staff was very helpful and went out of their way to help me pack gifts I brought from home to ship to another prefecture in Japan. The location was very convenient, right next door to the train station. Kumamoto was a great place to stay with the hotel being right next to the station. We would have loved to stay an extra night as there is plenty to do in this lovely castle city.   Hotel is located next to JR station. It is convenience to take JR or trams to other places for sightseeing. Staff is very helpful even though they can't speak very well english. I asked for the information how to go to see dolphin, she doesn't know much but still trying to find out for me. An hour later, she came to my room giving me some helpful information after she checked with friends and internet. - very good service of the reception desk, trying always to do their best and adjust with the English language to give you the best information that they can. Position of the Hotel just next to the station, and with a cable car stop right in front of the door, then, both facilities are convenient to either help you organize excursion outside of the city limit from the station, or visit the town and have late evenings in the city.
