  The hotel is beautiful, certainly reminiscent of a Medici Palace. very spacious. We had a junior suite which had fantastic views of the Sassi, breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. Staff are very friendly and helpful.We managed to converse with our limited Italian as this is yet to be really developed as a tourist destination.   We were blown away with the kindness of the family who runs this hotel. My husband and I were doing a quick tour of the area around Naples where his 4 grandparents came from. One grandmother, who lived until 1998, came from Gensano. The next morning we were told that they had contacted a local attorney who knew Nona's brother and we should go see him. We did, and were just - What a fabulous venue! Great for a quiet break or conference or wedding. Quality accommodation with breathtaking views across the countryside! The staff was very friendly and welcoming, especially Aurellio, and the meals were fabulous and at really good prices too. Highly recommended!!!
