Very friendly and generous hosts, Martin and Marian McDonagh really looked after us in their cosy B&B. Comfortable room and excellent breakfast. After I injured my ankle during a hike, Martin was kind enough to bring us into Doolin and show us the harbour. Highly recommended. ++++ -

The owner of the Mews is such a sweet heart. So very welcoming! The mews is a real interesting place and the breakfast is to your heart content! The mews is literally 10 mins walk from the castle. No car needed. If you attend a late banquet, don't forget to pack a torch with you for your way back!

A fantastic place to stay in Doolin. Joan, her husband and Geraldine did everything possible to make our stay an enjoyable one - often going above and beyond what was expected. Massive spacious room with huge bathroom. Very clean. Beautifully dressed beds were spotless and comfortable. Very relaxed atmosphere, so felt very at home here. Breakfast was lovely. cereals, fresh fruit, toast, brown bread, scones... not to mention a full cooked breakfast of your choice. Location is fantastic.

The location of the hotel is excellent. There is a large kitchen and a large fridge. You can cook like all the people staying there did. You need to clean-up and do the dishes after the meal. There is relaxing area where you can read, watch TV, play certain games, etc. The rooms and the toilets are clean and in very good condition.

The staff is really friendly. We lived there as a Family, in a big room with own bathroom. Great cooking and kitchen facilities, eventhough we didn't use them, the hotel food was too great. Award winning restaurent Michellin star just 50 m. further down the road. Not the normal combination to do with a hostel, but we had it all. Great town and really Family friendly too.

The room was very decent, the common areas were warm and friendly and
the kitchen was spacious and very well equipped. Breakfasts were fairly
plain (cereal and milk, toast, butter, jam, tea/coffee, orange juice
and scones were offered) but plentiful and completely sufficient for our
needs. The internet connection was excellent on the ground floor. The
staff was extremely helpful and nice, and the location very scenic.

We got a lovely big family room, very clean, tea/coffee making facilities, decent sized bathroom with powerful shower. Generous breakfast with as much or as little food as you want. Very friendly staff. Definitely recommend this hotel to experience a genuine Irish hotel.
