  I stayed post valentines day with my partner and unexpectedly got engaged! It was a perfect setting and I adored the decor of the courtyard suites...was only sorry we could not stay and enjoy them longer. Staff were very friendly but not intrusive.   Staff was friendly, service was impeccable. Earl of Thormond restaurant had fabulous food and attentive wait staff. Gluten free options available. Breakfast was delicious as well with many options. Falconry lesson was a great experience with friendly and knowledgeable handler. TJ was a Harris Falcon and not intimidating. The grounds are wonderful and well kept. You just can't beat it. The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated. The bathrooms are large and have heated mirrors so they never fogged up. The staff is hospitable and informative. We enjoyed our stay and would love to return to take advantage of all the amenities.
