  I was expecting a two star hotel but I was pleasantly surprised. Maybe in relation to its luxury neighbouring hotel it is a 2 star but in my experience this hotel would be at least a 3 star. It's over 180 years old but you would never know it based on how immaculately clean it is. Last, the staff were wonderful and the service was amazing; it is so refre - My flight was delayed and I arrived very late and the hotel staff was kind enough to stay up and wait for me to arrive, then carried my 38 lb bag up three flights of stairs to my room. The following day after I checked out the staff allowed me to leave my bags at the hotel while I shopped and had lunch, then called a cab to take me to the cruise port. Everyone was extremely nice and helpful and I enjoyed my stay and hope to return for another stay in the future.

  The hotel was very centrally located and our room exceeded our expectations by far as it was very recently updated with beautiful finishings, a very modern bathroom and very comfortable bed. Free coffee is available at breakfast time, and there is a discount arrangement for breakfast in a nearby cafe. I found it an excellent base for a few days' stay.

I like the stylish and cozy decoration of the hotel sitting room and dinning room. Also, the microwave in the dinning room allowed me to eat some supermarket food which saved me some budget for shopping.   The room was amazing. The historical building has been renovated to provide updated comforts to the guests while still maintaining historical charm. Beds were very comfortable.
