  The staff were bilingual and it was easy to communicate in English, even though I wanted to practice my French. It was in a relatively good location just outside of the Old City and basically everything I wanted was within walking distance (did not take a cab or transit at all). The room prices were excellent for the amenities and the rooms seemed... ce que les gens disent » like they had been recently updated...very nice! The beds and pillows were very comfortable, the shower head was large and great for a hot shower aft - Beautifully appointed rooms and amenities. Wonderfully friendly bilingual staff. Across street, market specialising in local produce and products - we went in fall and all the fruits and vegetables were perfect. The local eateries were excellent. The Quebecois, like the French, KNOW how to eat, and they seemed always to ensure that when selling you any product, they gave you all the info you needed to ensure the best experience when eating or drinking it.   We stayed at their other location off St-Jean St., We rented two one bedroom apartments (with flip-out futons in the living room) that were perfectly appointed, clean and comfortable. Loved the location as St-Jean St. is a quick walk to the Old City gates but less touristy than the Old City; it is lined with cafés, restaurants and unique boutique s... ce que les gens disent » hops (not the usual chain stores like in the Old City). The person who met us and gave us the keys also went over a map with us showing us where thing - Perfect location, in front of the Loews, by the huge park the Plains of Abraham (very dog friendly), on Grande Allée, just at the beginning of the festival d'été and the pedestrian street with dozens of restaurants. We can easily reach by foot the Chateau Frontenac and the rue St Jean. Parking is free so park your car and walk. The appartment on the 2nd level (1ere étage) of the adjacent house than the one in photo is a spacious 2-bedroom with well equipped kitchen. Manager is very friendly. - Location was perfect. The apartment was very nice, clean, temperately heated. Ramazan was helpful and patient, especially with my memory error about the price, and our late arrival. The apartment was perfectly appointed, and we had everything we needed for a wonderful time.
