  The staff were very helpful, although letsbookhotel.com messed up on our reservation, so when we arrived there was no room for us that allowed pets. The staff actually asked others to move so we could stay there with our dog. Hotel was clean, and room service was great.   It was just myself and my daughter, so the room was excellent, the price was awesome, the bed was out of this world, GREAT sleep. We didn't spend a whole of time in the room because the weather cooperated and we were outside all day. The staff were very helpful, friendly, accommodating.   The room we could get had two queen sized beds. Within a day or so, we got a phone message saying that the hotel had upgraded us. I suspect it was because another customer needed the second bed. Nonetheless, the upgrade was awesome.   Excellent value for money. This is the first hotel between Calgary and Banff, and only 10 minutes from the park gate. Facilities are simple but perfectly adequate, if all you need is a comfortable place to sleep. - Just minutes away from Canmore and the Banff Park gate. Great area to stay before heading back to Calgary and the airport.

  Breakfast is included which is really great! The breakfast changed a little each day, so sometimes you got pancakes and other times there was waffles or french toast. The restaurant staff were incredibly patient with all the young families around. It was so nice to be able to sleep in and have a hot brunch without having to pull out the wallet. Our room had a huge wide - The management was so nice. When we had to stay an extra night due to an unexpected state of emergency in the area, they reduce the room rate to half. This was amazingly sensitive at a time that was difficult for the town and tourists, Wonderful town to visit and we had a chance to walk on trails from the lodging to town once conditions improved. Everyone was very considerate under stressful circumstances. Very commendable for a business overall.

This motel was shockingly nice. Other than it being laid out like a motel it likely could have been 3 star hotel. I don't ask for much other than quiet room, clean and comfortable. This was great stay. Very friendly staff too.
