I loved the atmosphere of the hotel. It was luxurious and very classy
for what I paid (35% discount). The room was amazing with an awesome
view of the harbor. It felt sooo relaxing and clean and modern. I loved
the bed and linen. The shower and toilet was clean with luxurious soft

We had a spa room because we had our 6mth old baby so the kitchenette with microwave & bath was a necessity. I liked that the Metropole is in the middle of town and is close to the railway station for those without a car. I liked the historic building with its lovely old, but well maintained structures, including the walkway from the back carpark to reception. It is a delight walking through the area with its ferns, goldfish, etc. -

I liked the ground floor gardens and plants. A credit to the owner who I spoke to.
I also enjoyed the breakfasts and it was of very high standard. The motel is an older one which was built in 1985. However the room was lovely and comfortable and the bed was excellent. All in all I was most pleased. Thank you. -

what I liked was the fact is was so intimate there was never more than five people in the pools. The room was spacious with front and back doors. Back door led to grassed area beside Mehi River. 2 artesian spas and 1 swimming pool were just perfect for relaxing. We did not have to venture away to have the artesian experience. The restaurant was very good. The food was outstanding. The staff were also outstanding - we were made to feel very welcome and nothing was a problem.

La proximité de l'aéroport de Sydney car c'était mon critère de choix pour cet seule nuit en transit entre deux avions. Comfortable, propre, TV cable, Internet gratuit. -
*Très pratique la proximité de la gare qui mène au centre de Sydney très rapidement.

Craig, the manager, was a treat and very helpful. The hotel is within walking distance of terrific views of the Opera House and Harry's Cafe de Wheels. They have a handout that provides lots of tips about how to get around Sydney and things to do while in town. It was our first trip to Sydney and we only could stay one day before heading to Tonga, but we will return someday for a longer stay and would definitely consider staying at Mariners Court again.

It's just off the Kings Cross wasn't noisy at all. Downstairs in both sides super cute n very friendly little coffee shops with excellent service n superb breakfast. Hotel it self was smaller so not overcrowded clean nice decor with small kitchen n basic provided. Staff in reception very helpful always polite.

We where looking for a motel in this area as a stop over from Sydney to
Melbourne, after we visited the Blue mountains in the afternoon. The
Colonial Lodge is a perfect stop for this. The rooms and the bath was
refurbished and we had everything we need. Everything was perfect clean
and the parking is just in front of the rooms. The owners are really
friendly an help out with every information you would need.

We liked the fact that the staff permitted us to use the shower and store our belongings prior to check in. We had arrived in Sydney from Darwin at 6am and could not check in until 2pm that day so we really appreciated the shower to freshen up.

amazing: 5 minutes walk from Darling Harbour and the Star Casino! Our
room was fairly big, hence the fact, I cannot understand people
complaining on their reviews about the size of their room (maybe I was
just lucky?!). The shared bathroom worked just fine, after all, nobody
goes on a trip to stay closed in a bathroom do they?
