  I liked that the Metropole is in the middle of town and is close to the railway station for those without a car. I liked the historic building with its lovely old, but well maintained structures, including the walkway from the back carpark to reception. It is a delight walking through the area with its ferns, goldfish, etc. - Location was great... ce que les gens disent » great. Close to all site seeing and also cheap great food and shops. Hotel was old school setting as well as modern which was great. I will be staying again later this year and will recommend this hotel to everyone going to the blue mountains.

  It's just off the Kings Cross wasn't noisy at all. Downstairs in both sides super cute n very friendly little coffee shops with excellent service n superb breakfast. Hotel it self was smaller so not overcrowded clean nice decor with small kitchen n basic provided. Staff in reception very helpful always polite.   The cabins were well kept and quite modern. The resort backed onto the beach, so it was great to be able to have a 2 minute walk, and your right there.   The location and the way the house is decorated - simple and stylish - makes you feel relaxed and at home from the moment you walk in. It even smells good and is impeccably clean, plus includes breakfast and cooking facilities. It's perfectly located away from the town in a residential oasis. It attracts a good crowd of like minded sorts. We had fun watching the Aust - The rooms decor and the whole house was done like a lovely home setting. Room spacious and bed very comfortable. Great kitchen in which to cook our evening meal and very good continental breakfast provided (which is a rare bonus for the price and type of accomodation). Staff very friendly and grounds beautiful. Only a few mins drive to shops and restaurants. Would definitely recommend it!

  The facilities/BBQ areas were well located, clean and easy to use. The camp kitchen was great for our gathering. The river view was wonderful and the staff were friendly. - Lovely location, very spacious and clean, self contained room overlooking the river. Sorry we were there for only one night.
