With a 3 year old who loves water the pool was brilliant. The location of the units was also excellent being just 75 metres from the beach and 5 minutes walk into town. It was very quiet being off the main road and the upstairs rooms are shaded by treetops. -

excellent, it was immaculately clean and the staff were exceptional. One
of the best hotel/motel experiences I've had. Not to mention
that the price was unbeatable! I can't say enough about how much I
enjoyed my stay there. -

We have never stayed in Macrossan St on our previous 6 visits to Port as thought it would be noisy. Not so and an ideal location to walk to everywhere we wanted to go.

could not get anything more spacious, clean, staff friendly and
accommodating and perfect location, 2 streets from the main Village. I
can not fault the Cayman Villas at all and would highly recommend the

We loved everything about Cayman, from the position, the apartments, the bbq area, the pool and the super friendly manager. Will definately be recommending to friends and family and hope to go back soon. :) -
Great location - 5 minute walk to beach or Main Street and 10 mins to wharf area. Great pool - nicely set with enough room for everyone. Lovely helpful lady at reception - so easy to book trips to reef etc.

1. Best location in Port Douglas in my opinion. Hard to appreciate on the map but right on beach and close to main restaurant and shopping row.

The staff were friendly and gave a full tour/explanation of the facilities and took us to our room on arrival. Food and drink available to order by the pool which made for a great relaxing stay. Awesome breakfast included. Love the no under 16yo rule and will be back.

Stayed here for four nights in October would have loved longer. Checked
in late after reception closed our lamps were lit tea coffee and milk
left for us and radio playing relaxing music! Next day Sue was so

Verandahs is in a great location, so close to everything, no car needed.
Older children can safely move between Verandahs, the shops and the beach on their own.
Sue was a real pleasure to meet and very helpful.
The two bedroom, two bathroom apartment was spacious enough for 4 adults and well equipped.
Overall stay was really relaxing.

Keranne and Dave were excellent hosts. Nothing was too,much bother for them. They booked transport and tours for us, told us where to find shops, restaurants etc. their apartments are beautifully kept. -

Pip and Trevor were very welcoming, the pubs, restaurants, and shops are right there at the front door step. It was a great place to stay with all the facilities you need. No need to have a car because you can walk every where.!! -
Good location. Very clean. The owners very very helpful with everything from booking tours, places to visit and excellent recommendations for places to eat. Would definitely recommend it to everyone. Excellent

loved the design of the villas,and the bright colours. Loved the intimacy of it being a small resort for couples. Loved all the complimentary extras that made it special. Loved the herb pots. The privacy, the secluded area per unit. The gardens were amazing. All the little extras were included like robes, candles, mozzie coils and so forth ... more than you would expect from a budget resort. Such a relaxing and tropical atmosphere. This accommodation was the best thing about Port Douglas.

Toni and Bruno were great hosts. We arrived early in the morning and were able to get into our villa which was great after a night flight. The villa we were in was very spacious and clean and well appointed. Especially loved the skylight in the top bedroom where you can lay in bed at night and see the stars framed in the overhanging coconut palms.The location was excellent, 2 min walk to the beach and a few minutes walk to the main shopping area.

Excellent location right in the heart of main street, with shops and restaurants a short stroll from the apartment. Apartment was very comfortable and clean, and perfect for a relaxing stay. Host was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

Hotel entrance was on main street in Port Douglas, next to shops, supermarket, bars and restaurants, and yet so peaceful, clean, well equipped and spacious. The apartments are away from the busy street, and yet everything thing is so accessible. Nice pool for a swim after doing the local tours. Hotel owner was extremely helpful arranging tours, always had time for helping his guests.

waited to wave us off as we left, we couldn't have asked for more. -
Anne, the host was, very welcoming and was very very helpful with advice regarding eating, shopping, tours etc plus explaining all the things available at the Freestyle Resort. The room had everything we wanted to make our stay comfortable. It was only a block away from CBD which meant it was quiet and also there was a short forced exercise/walk every time we wanted to go somewhere which was good.In summary! A good all rounder.
