  My husband & I plus our 24 year old daughter stayed at Palms Motel for 2 nights while attending a family wedding in Darwin. We had a family room which was very spacious and very clean. I was also impressed that I was given a discount for the broken sink. Overall I was really impressed as I haven't stayed in a backpacker's lodge since the 70's!!!   Staff where very friendly and great atmosphere, not noisy atall considering location and great value for money - My room was quiet and cool. The pool was great The layout gave many options for places to relax etc.
