  My husband & I plus our 24 year old daughter stayed at Palms Motel for 2 nights while attending a family wedding in Darwin. We had a family room which was very spacious and very clean. The aircon was reasonably quiet and very efficient. The beds were extremely comfortable too. It was quiet and in a great location close to everything.   Vintina is a great place to stay in Darwin. It is close to the CBD and also mindil beach and markets. The room are very clean and modern. The pool and BBQ area are great.   I had a private room so it was luxurious! Great that towels were provided that was a real bonus and simple breakfast was really appreciated. I was also impressed that I was given a discount for the broken sink. Overall I was really impressed as I haven't stayed in a backpacker's lodge since the 70's!!!
