The Park Hyatt is the best hotel in Canberra -but is probably the most expensive! It is ideal for conservative people who appreciate the Art Deco design the history - and easy proximity to key attractions (old Parliament House, national gallery, portrait gallery). -

Staying at the Park Hyatt was a real treat.

The apartments are located on very well ept grounds and nice and private extremely pleasant indeed. the paratmetnitself was well appointed had wahing machine and dryer full kitchen nice iittle balcony with table and chairs overal it was very pleasant indeed. Great location, close to Canberra main attractions (Old and New Parliament House; National Gallery; National Library; Lake Burley Griffin). Friendly and helpful staff. Spacious apartment. Quiet and comfortable. Homely feel. Very close to a precinct with good restaurants, bar, supermarket etc. Felt like a place one could stay for two weeks and have a real holiday!

I had a note on my file that I liked the apartment that we stayed in last time and would prefer it for future bookings. I was kindly rang by a staff member to let me know that room was not available as it was a two bedroom apartment I had booked a one bedroom apartment. The apartment was clean, spacious and the view was spectacular!
We were so close to all the places we wanted to visit Parliment House, The War Memorial and Shopping in the City.
The Staff were very friendly and helpful nothing was a problem.
I would recommend it to anyone looking for top accommodation in the city at a reasonable price.

On arrival the staff were very friendly, great to see a smiling face after a long journey. The rooms were also very bright and airy, and the balcony on the third floor is a great idea, perfect place to socialize and meet other travelers!! It's a wonderful location and super easy to find. -

Very good value for money, the unit was clean with good heating. Car parking was good. The facilities and Restaurant were good clan and good food. The swimming pool area looks nice, but not the weather to try it out.
The location to all the things you want to do and the CBD was excellant. -
All the dishes and utensils were supplied.

When leaving the hotel I thought that the accommodation fee had already
been charged to my credit card but was told that it not how letsbookhotel.com
works, which I know is not the case, so I hope I haven't been
charged twice. Also they tried to charge me for drinks in the restaurant
which I hadn't had. -

I liked the idea that the hotel was a fair bit out of the city and therefore in a peaceful environment, but at the same time there are a lot of lovely restaurants walking distance from the hotel area. -

Reception staff - very friendly at each encounter. I was welcomed with unsolicited suggestions and free maps - very nice touch you would normally only see in a small country town.

My wife fell and broke her arm 3 hours after we arrived; I was diagnosed with DVT 3 days later. We had to extend our stay by 3 days as doctopr would not allow me to drive home. Staff was very helpful indeed in finding another room for us for 3 days even though the hotel was heavily booked. Could not speak more highly of the staff. Also good to be able to have dinner brought to our room.

This property is well priced, and quiet, and only about 10 minutes from the northern end of Canberra. The rooms are comfortable and relatively clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful. We were there when a school group was also staying there, but because of the size of the resort, we didn't hear a peep out of them all night long. Waking up to

Second time at this hotel in as many weeks and booked through
letsbookhotel.com and:
1) Over charged again - refund obtained.
2) Was not offered the room I booked but their most basic one - until I questioned this and they gave me the room booked. Kinda frustrating really - and I am not blaming the staff but the Rydges booking system.
