What a beautiful town & hotel.Stayed here for 5 days in July as we had travelled to see the Moto Gp racing at Laguna Seca. We had Yamaha & Ducati pit crew staying in our hotel. Well placed for the Harbour and bars etc. Fishermans Wharf is beautiful. must have been around 1000 motorbikes parked n the streets. Amazing place. Will definitely come back. Excellent location and very good facilities, even though the pool area was being refurbished, we were given use of a neighbouring hotels pool and hot tub facilities.

I like the staff, the gym, pool and the breakfast...... I will go back to Monterey Marriot any time. Location for whale watching was perfect and very easy to find . Nice clean town felt safe. Friendly and helpful Staff. Great service and great location. I am definitely going back!. Great staff handy location very good internal bar and resturant All you can ask for. We enjoy staying at the marriott I think it has a lot amenities handy none. Beautiful view from window, spacious standard room, close to warf and canery row. Friendly staff, OK room & good location. Location near Fisherman's Wharf. Superb staff. Comfortable rooms. Central to The village. went on a whale trip to see blue whales. We did see them. But unfortunately too far away! Not the hotels fault....nothing to dislike at all. We were charged for parking @ 20 dollars also we had to pay for my two children's breakfast because they were over 12 yrs old which was also 20 dollars each all plus taxes, ended up paying 70 dollars more than expected. -No free parking. -No kettle in room for hot water. -Water pressure unstable for shower (water temperature not consistent at different time of the day). -No stand up shower room. -The shower cannot be mobile as we may need it for taking shower for babies. -A bit pricy. Everything was great. We were there for a black Tie Event. The service was great, everything was great, except the food was nothing to write home about it. We would return because of the staff !. paying extra for parking. Parking outrageous for this location. WiFi not included in room rate. Excessive 24 dollars per night for parking. Noise from bar below. Room over priced. wish I could have stayed longer................... Expensive. The bathrooms and no sofa. Room is not big Long queue at reception: very slow Valet service was great. Hotel was under renovation , we had a water leak in our room and the rugs in the sink area were soaked , we had the mainteance person in our room from 9 am till we checked out . Night receptionist during checkin was very rude, giving dirty looks when asked simple questions and acting as if we were stupid. The beds and bathrooms were all full of dust. Once I stepped into the bathtub there was a whole layer of dust on the surface & when I lied on the bed, a lot of dust started raining down like snow. Even though there isn't many people who visit this hotel, it's best if it is kept clean at all times for the probability of anyone visiting :). Old style. pricey, for the room we used!. Seem a little tired in the rooms - very basic accommodation and no extra's like cotton wool etc. The air conditioning was way to cold and blasting . We ended up getting sick from it . My husband advised the staff to lower air and let guests adjust it themselves . They seemed totally disinterested. Paid $25.00 for valet parking just to wait 20min to stand in the cold for our car. Booked a luxury room and got a standard room. Paid close to $180 for one night just to be charged for basic extras like water, wi- fi....bathroom looked like someone used it before we entered the room. (Toilet was dirty under and above) sink had a crack in it. Overpriced for room. Shower leaked. The worst 4-star hotel I have ever stayed in. Very low value for the money. Unfree wifi. For the price you pay and expect a total disappointment: Pool too small for this type of hotel, poolchairs really dirty, poolarea really not take Care of (again for this class of hotel), reception staff helpful byt with an attitude Breakfast really basic.
