I normally do not write reviews but after staying at Fernside I was determined to write one. It was the best B&B we ever stayed in. It was ever so clean, recently renovated. I stayed here in March as I wanted to stay in this historic property. Wow what a great decision that was, the whole house is fabulous, full of character, spotlessly clean, stylish and beautifully appointed. Greeted wonderfully by the owners, a Devon home made cream tea on arrival in their beautiful sitting room in big leather chairs. If there is something that you want in a great guesthouse...its in the olive branch. Wonderfull room with great vieuw, two seats are waiting for you. Clean, very clean. Perfect bed, a King worthy. Tastefull breakfast, and very nice staff.

Conveniently situated just a few miles after leaving the M5 "Brambles" was easy to find with the directions provided by the owners and waking up to the peace and quiet in a beautiful country side setting was wonderful. Really clean comfortable accommodation with little extras that aren't always provided by other B&Bs. Excellent breakfast!!
