The room was huge, clean and decorated in good taste. The view from the window was breath taking. The Bed was very big and comfortable. The bathroom was very clean, with many washing goodies available. Breakfast offered great choice. Very tasty especially the scrambled eggs and salmon. The full English maybe could have done with black pudding on offer. If there is something that you want in a great guesthouse...its in the olive branch. Wonderfull room with great vieuw, two seats are waiting for you. Clean, very clean. Perfect bed, a King worthy. Tastefull breakfast, and very nice staff. That´s how you run a guesthouse, thanx!! kaikki arvostelut » The greating from the owners and the large room had a fantastic view and the attached restaurant at the Olive Branch was very nice as was the choice of breakfast. If you can't get in try the Relish restaurant half way down the hill.Even had my papers delivered. Paul and Carol who own The Olive Branch are fantastic. Really friendly, made us feel welcome and so helpful. They have a lovely little restaurant with a great menu. If I had a little hotel The Olive Branch would be the type of hotel I would like to create. Very friendly hosts, great location, very comfortable and large room with lovely coast views Quiet.Very good shower and bathroom All very clean very good breakfast Excellent dinner at olive room restaurant dowstairs with 15% discount for olive room guests. Very friendly, helpful people who run it. Food very good. Place in excellent repair, clean and pleasant. Great value for money. I arrived later than the last checking time and they couldn't have been more helpful and kind. (Puncture in bike tyre). Breakfast was served by the owners....the food was excellent and well presented...owners were friendly and conversed with guests easily. They made everyone feel welcome. We had a lovely welcome when we first arrived and were told about places to visit, entertainment and where to eat. Everything we were recommended was top class. Loved our night here, never had decking and free standing bath in our room before! Friendly staff and good food, quiet location and comfy room. N/a. having to park in public car park a pain as olive branch is on a no parking road. only slight negative. Nothing at all!. stairs. Could have done with prior info. on how to access guesthouse on arrival by car (down past a no entry sign). Also didn't realise that nearest long stay parking was down beyond harbour. Nothing. Nothing. Nothing. Only downsides for me: wash basin too small and shaving mirror too low, both apparently designed for very petite people!.
