We were allowed to check in earlier without questioning (I suppose because we didn't travel at the peak season), other bonuses were the towels and wi-fi. - Nice clean place, really not expensive for the location.   Pensión La Salve is not too hard to find if you do your homework. Look for it using Google Earth. If you go through Puente de La Salve it should be easy to get there. There is an easier way to go there without using the bridge, but you might have to find it there. It is about a ten minute walk from the city.
