We like the friendliness of the owners. We were met and welcomed by Carina who made us feel at home. We were shown to the cottage which was very clean. na and Andre are really people's people and it was easy having a conversation with them. We were really surprised to find a decanter of cherry as well - Carina is a wonderful, friendly host who has achieved the right balance of being there when you need her whilst giving you the space to relax. The one bed unit was superb with high spec kitchen, comfy sofa and lovely large bed with en-suite. There was a bottle of wine and milk waiting for us and when my partner expressed a desire for beer, one appeared as if by magic! Is Carina really a fairy godmother??

Each cottage has its own patio with comfortable furniture, l - The all around atmosphere was relaxing, beautiful, friendly and pleasant. The staff very helpful, friendly and a pleasure to talk to. The rooms were comfortable, clean and relaxing. The vineyard was a delight to behold. Bella (3 month old Pug) was a friendly playful friend. And the food (Thanks Louise) was absolutely wonderful.

The staff was friendly without being intrusive. We had our privacy and all our needs were met with a smile. My children are still saying "mum we miss our home at Rose Cottage" because to us it was more than a home away from home.
