Best features are the tranquil garden, excellent restaurant, and lovely staff, but everything is great in this little gem just 3 minutes away from busy thamel. We stayed at a deluxe room though and it was very spacious and clean, but dont know what the other rooms are like. it has gate private security, excellent Wifi, own electric generator so you dont suffer nepal daily power cuts. The hotel is clean and friendly, the staff quite helpful. Only the reception is sometimes a little disorganized. Service in the restaurant and quality of the food is good. The hotel can arrange car rental at a fair price, better than the the travel agencies. I would stay again at this place.
kaikki arvostelut » The hotel is great, perfect location, great food (the cocktails are also not bad, which is amazing for a hotel!), awesome service and you'll get all the touristic information that you'll need, they'll also organize everything for you if you need (prices are not among the lowest!). Staff was wonderful, rooms were adequate, location to sites and shopping was great, food was great as was dining outside or in. Spending the evenings on the large balcony with a pot of Nepali tea and a book was a wonderful way to end the day. Great hotel. Away from the noisy Thamel, but close enough so you can do everything on foot. Great garden. Very helpful staff. I wish we could have stayed for longer in Kathmandu. And I'd definitely recommend it. Cleanliness , courtesy and behaviour of Front office and other staff , Location was good , Garden cafe was good , Light Breakfast was very prompt and good. This is a gem for the price. And such a nice atmosphere, a little outside the main turmoil of Thamel but not too far for easy access to whatever!. Great location. Wonderful staff. Very easy and stress free. Very nice place to stay in Katmandu;Quiet and good services;Good food and breakfast. Location, and outside areas at the hotel. The main gate leads to a dirt road but that makes it quieter. The hotel is a bit pricey considering Nepali standards. It's actually not too far from European rating. Ok it's worth it, but it could be perfect if it had lower rates. To be picky, the available PCs are slow and the Internet is slow, too. But these are really details. Rooms are dated in a quaint way, bathrooms could be updated, no a/c but a fan was provided and adequate. We stayed in Room No. 401 , only problem was Toilet flush was not working properly. Nothing. Excellent place. Dogs barking in the night. Some rooms beside the terraces are to much noisy in the night. Dirty placemats in restaurant. Curtains in room worn, leaking plumbing. Room close to the street are a little bit noisy. Toilet not flushing, shower running brown occasionally, hotel car not at the airport as advised for pickup nor available for dro off despite being booked.
