  The suite was beautiful, clean and spacious. This was a real suite, not a single room trying to call itself a suite like so many hotels today. The gardens were beautiful.   The chateau is a unique place to stay. It's a country manor house that has been beautifully decorated in a period fashion with sumptuous wall paper, drapes, antiques and fascinating paintings, sculpture and objets d'art. You aren't staying in a museum, though, but rather a country house that feels lived in. It's authentic, not Disney-esque.
