  Only stayed for an overnight but Mark & Tina were excellent hosts. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Weather was good so dinner on the terrace with two other guests made the evening. Breakfast was also excellent. We felt totally looked after.   The Conte and Contessa treat their guests as personal friends in their home. The whole atmosphere is gracious and very welcoming. Strongly recommend as a "special treat" - the dinner party idea was good fun. The owners are charming.

  This hotel was very different to most we have stayed at. It was uniquely special. We were effectively welcomed into the owners' home (which is a very grand castle) and treated as a member of their family for the duration of our stay. All of the guests were invited to drink and eat together in the evening. Additionally: - the castle and grounds are... mitä ihmiset sanovat » beautiful and even better than the pictures. We visited with our small dog, Jasper, and he enjoyed playing in the vast gardens. - the pool area is ve - We were made to feel so welcome by the owners from the moment we arrived until the day of our departure. Wonderful, gourmet food which was plentiful and served by the very friendly staff. We also loved the free flowing drinks in the beautiful lounge area prior to our evening meal and met some lovely people at that time. A stunning chateau hotel and one which we would love to return to.
