  This was the 2nd time I was at the Hotel de La Cloche. Last year I booked a room for two, this year I booked a room for three. The proprieter and his family are very friendly, the place is very clean and comfortable and at a fantastic location right in the centre of town. The price was very good. I recommend this hotel, and in fact passed their information on to a friedn who plans to travel soon in the Alsace region. - Delightful owners. Wonderful ambience in the low ceilinged rooms oozing of history. Very pleasant breakfast at extra cost. Recommendation as to where to dine was excellent though it is unusual that the restaurant of the same name as the hotel is to be stayed away from....but all ok once explained.

  Great place to stay when visiting Strasbourg. Clean, comfortable with friendly staff. We stayed a second day. Transport into the city by bus and tram was quick and easy to use and at 3Euro for a return trip very reasonable. - Overnight stop on journey across France, close to motorway and near enough to Strasbourg that you could go there too.   Typical Ibis budget - you get a nice room with fresh looking furniture, but just the basics - there's no wardrobe for instance. Double bed was a real double one, not just two singles next to each other. Our daughter loved sleeping on the bed with a ladder - oh, and kids sleep for free, too. Overall, a great budget stopover and not far from Strasbourg centre. - Free WiFi and free parking over three nights saved me much money. It was a great solution to allowing me to drive to Freiburg and Basel for a day and be able to return then drive back to catch a train from Luxembourg to Brussels the next day. Free breakfast was ideal as well. Nice natural morning light in cafeteria. Pleasant staff members very helpful. Nicely designed and innovatively lit rooms. Check it out!
