  Staff was very accomodating. Since there is no elevator, and I was staying for just one night traveling with a heavy suitcase following a business trip, I was offered a room on a lower floor and the staff carried my bag to the room. They provided a map of the city and directions to local sites.   Beautiful hotel in the centre of one of the prettiest places we have ever been, Saint-Emilion. We stayed in a suite, which was very pricey, but still lovely. The pool and gardens were superb and immaculately kept. The reception/bar was maybe a little lacking in atmosphere but the rest of the hotel made up for this minor complaint! Our double room was fairly standard but the real value for money comes in making the most of the swimming pool and wonderful garden area. It was very easy to get there from the train station by the two trams (C and A) which goes through the old city. The tram stop is very close to the hotel. The hotel is staffed 24h a day. - Overall we really liked our stay here. It's a very simple hotel, but has modern design, is well-maintained and everyone is friendly. Breakfast was great, very complete. The location is quite good, it's in a calm part of the town (at least in August) and within walking distance to the center. The car park was also very convenient and reasonably priced. Having free gummies and water in our room, plus croissants and coffee, was a nice touch!
