  Nikki and Julian are simply wonderful hosts, and we loved our stay at Le Pavillon Villemaurine. We wished we had stayed longer. This small hotel is perfectly situated in Saint Emilion, so that you can explore the village and sample restaurants on foot. The hotel rooms are spacious and beautifully appointed. Nikki and Julian helped us with restaurant recommendations, reservations, wine purchases and also arranged a local wine tasting and tour that - The owners, Nikki and Julian couldn't have have been more charming and pleasant with a wonderful greeting on arrival and friendliness during our stay. The bedroom was a good size and the double bed and mattress were excellent resulting in a good nights sleep.The addition of breakfast, and all day cake, wine and tea/coffee, as well as wi-fi being included in the room price puts other establishments to shame. A useful list of restaurants with recommendations was provided and did not dissappoint.

  We stayed in the workshop room it was beautifully decorated with gorgeous views from all the rooms. We thought we would have just one room like you normally do in a hotel instead it was a 2 bedroom with a separate living room, dining room and kitchen(they don't allow cooking in the kitchen for safety reasons). They also have a restaurant in the hotel we were in Paris then st emilion and we probably had the best food durin - The Chateau has only 3 rooms and we stayed in the smallest, the Mahogony Room. This room was a very large king bed room with a huge luxury bathroom. High quality facilities. Restaurant was pricey but very high quality gourmet cooking. They served on the outdoor terrace which was beautiful. First class terrace & service set among their winery overlooking miles of grape vineyards. Eat there for sure. We planned to eat there once and ended up their both evenings.
