  Hotel a L'Oriel is beautiful and has real character and warmth. Spacious, comfortable room with bay window overlooking the cobblestone street and view of the vines on the hills.   My husband and I arrived pretty late to the hotel so we didn't get to see much since we were only staying one night. The hotel itself is quaint and fits in with Colmar. Our room small but clean, comfortable, and a great place to stay.   Everything. Location. Nice room - newly renovated. They gave me a double with a bath although I had signed up for a promotional single room - very generous. Breakfast was great. They had hot food (eggs and ham) which I could eat - I am diabetic and stay away from carbs. Good selection of carbs for those who can eat them. Excellent staff.
