  Hotel a L'Oriel is beautiful and has real character and warmth. Spacious, comfortable room with bay window overlooking the cobblestone street and view of the vines on the hills. We had better facilities than some bigger city hotels. Excellent breakfast and helpful thoughtful staff. Stayed there 10 years ago and has remained great. Nice room, great bathroom (by European standards-didn't flood the bathroom when taking a shower), parking at a reasonable price, location, friendly staff (easy to communicate in French, German or English). Will go back there again.

  Excellent hotel in the middle of beautiful Alsace, next to Colmar and numerous other attractions. Wild game dinner and the wine at the hotel restaurant was exquisite. Spa facilities are worth 4 stars. - Access tot the spa, location near to the "Wine route". The restaurant is REALLY good.

  My husband and I arrived pretty late to the hotel so we didn't get to see much since we were only staying one night. The hotel itself is quaint and fits in with Colmar. Our room small but clean, comfortable, and a great place to stay. The beds were comfortable. Parking was free and easily accessible, a terrific privilege. The hotel is just around the corner from the Unterlinden Museum with its fabulous Issenheim Altar.

  We love your hotel - it was clean, modern and well-located. The room was spacious and beautifully deocorated. The breakfast was great. We liked the view of the tree-lined street, the cleanliness of the neighbourhood and particularly enjoyed the fabulous park across the street. - Fist time I stayed at your hotel 2 years ago.   Newly renovated. Niceely painted and carpeted. Pristine clean!!! Well equiped kitchenette. Close to the old town, museum of modern art, railway station and tram stop. To be honest, Strasbourg main area (sightseeing area) is small that you can walk from the hotel to the downtown in 15min and spend 2-4 hour to walk around the city
